Mike & Larissa got Married the very last weekend in August. After moving my stuff up to school I came back down for what turned out to be a very fun weekend! The day started out at Larissa's house in Brighton where the girls got ready. All day the forecast was calling for rain, and sure enough it rained. But we made do. The fun part about Wedding pictures is that not only is every single one different in their own way, I learn something new every time. This time Sara (my awesome second shooter) and I learned how to take pictures in the rain (yes, the mental picture you now have of Sara balancing a small umbrella over both our heads, all the while both of us trying to keep our cameras from getting soaked is 100% accurate). Needless to say, we had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. Actually, the rain ending up clearing up and we were able to move around a little more.
Some fun details:
(side note- my favorite detail shots are always the flowers. And of course Larissa's flowers were gorgeous)
I also was completely in love with her princess dress. Gorgeous.
We were able to do some pictures outside before the rain started.
Getting ready photos are also a favorite. But even more so, the mirror shots. Larissa I apologize ahead of time when you get a million of those! Pictured below is the very talented Laura who did everyone's hair (except Jana who also does hair did her own).
Larissa's oldest niece was the flower girl. So cute.

Part of Larissa's gifts to her bridesmaids:
So thoughtful. Not only did she make all of these picture boards, Larissa picked photos to put on each person's board. Love the Polaroid look... very cute. Included in the gifts were also these bracelets each girl wore.
Mike arrived and because it was raining, the two did their first looks on the porch. So fun.
We took a few photos of Mike and Larissa, this was where Sara's balancing act came in.
The rain cleared up and we took a few in the grass. This picture below turned out to be a favorite... The girls actually thought of lining up this way. Love it.
The rain held off so we skipped over to downtown Howell for a few more of the bridal party. A fun crew!
Finally back to the church for Family shots, etc. before the wedding. Larissa had everything decorated so beautifully, Sara & I had a blast taking pictures of all the little details.
Congratulations, Mike & Larissa. Wishing you a lifetime of love & happiness!
