In Camera Double Exposure

Earlier this spring I learned a new technique I wanted to try out. For any other "beginners" like myself, maybe you will be as blown away as I was at what you can do with your camera!

These pictures are known as "In camera double exposures"
...meaning that this is taken in the camera by you with two shots that are merged together. No Photoshop! This is my new favorite thing to play around with. These were just a couple of practice shots trying to figure out how to use the double exposure function... so nothing too spectacular. If you google you can find some REALLY awesome things people do with this.

Just for Fun

I got a new camera lens!! I bought a 35mm 1.4 and I LOVE it. It came in the mail a couple of days before break, So I was able to take it to Florida which was awesome. But of course I had to play with it a little when it arrived. I needed a wide angle lens, but I had fun using it for some close ups:

I now have a nice assortment of toys :) It's crazy how much I got used to my full frame camera... I pulled out my old one to take these pictures below and WOW the difference is amazing. I love my 6D.

I guess I better get back to work. I hope your weekend was as nice as mine, and I hope your Monday is even better :)

Welcome!

Welcome to my new page and blog- my attempts at a better looking page. Please bear with me as I figure out exactly what I'm doing...

Thanks for Stopping by!
